Overview
You want to clear all Plays, delete all tasks or unenroll/delete records for yourself or a team member.
- A Rep is on a sick leave and never deactivated his Plays and has a lot of overdue tasks, so you want to bulk remove all of them.
- You need to clear your Plays from records.
Information
You can remove Plays from Playbooks by removing/unenrolling all records - people, contacts, and opportunities. To do so, complete the steps described below:
Unenroll all records from Plays
If you want to keep records within Playbooks for later re-enrollment into Plays, choose this option.
You can mass remove records by following the below steps:
- Open the Playbooks extension
- Click the menu button (Playbooks logo)
- Select People
- Click the Select All checkbox to select all records on the page. You can also click First 250 to select more records.
- Click the ACTIONS dropdown
- Select the Remove from a Play action
- Click Continue
- Leave the records unenrolled
When you want to re-enroll these records, you can follow the same steps above, but select the Enroll in Play action instead.
Delete all records from Playbooks
If you want to remove records entirely from Playbooks because you are done with them, choose this option.
Bear in mind that deleting records from Playbooks will not delete them from your CRM.
To delete multiple records from Playbooks, complete the following steps:
- Open the Playbooks extension.
- Click the menu button.
- Select People.
You must repeat this step for Accounts and Opportunities to get rid of all records in Playbooks. - Search for the desired person(s).
Or mark the Select All checkbox to remove all available records. If there are more than 50 records enrolled, click First 250 to select more records.
- Click the ACTIONS drop-down menu.
- Select Delete People.
- Click CONFIRM.
Testing
Once you execute the solution for the People, Account and Opportunity records, you will be removing all active Plays from this Playbook's account. A full review of the whole process can be found in the following video:
