You are wondering why are you getting notes in the activity on a contact that you did not put in there. You want to know where these notes in plays are being generated from.
Information
Notes on prospect records are synced from your Salesforce CRM's "Description" field. If a Playbooks user in your organization adds a note to a record, then that note will sync to your CRM and shwo up in plays and on the record.
There can be 2 causes for this behavior:
- There's some process on the Salesforce side that populates the "Description" field in Salesforce which automatically creates Notes in Playbooks. This can be populated automatically from a workflow in Salesforce.
- Someone actually has access to that field in Salesforce and is updating it without you being informed.
