Overview

Your organization is transitioning from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning and the users of your organization must access the Lightning version for some operations (not all of them). The "Remain in Classic" setting on the Salesforce side is meant to keep the Classic version of Salesforce as the default (while allowing access to Lightning when needed), so you want Playbooks to connect to both scenarios.

There is no setting in the Playbooks side that allows the mixture of both scenarios (the use of Salesforce Classic and Lightning at the same time). As described in the Users with the "Remain in Classic" Permission are automatically switched to Lightning when reverting to Salesforce KB Article, the Lightning experience user setting is what Playbooks uses as a reference and if the profile has that enabled or disabled will determine if Playbooks pulls up the record in Lightning mode or Classic mode.
