Overview
You may want to configure a field that will show the due date of the next play for each of the records enrolled in Playbooks.
Solution
- Create a custom filed in Salesforce with the following settings to sync data that will the due date for the next play steps for your leads or contacts:
- Field name: Playbooks Next Step Due Date
- API Name: Playbooks_Next_Step_Due_Date__c
- Type: Date
- Object: Select the required record type - Contact, Lead, Opportunity, or Account.
- Access Level: Read/Write for all users.
- After the field is created in Salesforce, please add it in the required view in Salesforce, which you are using to view synced emails.
After the field is created and the data is synced from Playbooks, you will be able to use this field in your views to differentiate incoming and outgoing emails.
Note: This field value will be populated only for records that will be updated or enrolled in a Play after the field was created. Alternatively, you can sync the required records manually. Also, records that are on the last Play step will have the next play step due date field blank.
