Overview
After converting from Classic to Salesforce Lightning, you encounter an issue that phones are not hyperlinked and you can't click them to initiate a call in Playbooks and emails are hyperlinked but when you click them, it opens Outlook rather than emailing through Playbooks. Both Email and Phone are added to the same field in Salesforce.

Please note that Click-to-call and Click-to-email features in Playbooks are not designed to work properly when a CRM Field contains any other data in addition to the email or phone number.
In such scenario, you have two options:
- Create separate field in Salesforce so that each field contain only Email or Phone number.
Note: Make sure that phone numbers are in E.164 format. - Contact your Account Manager to have our Professional Services team develop a custom object in salesforce Lightning for you that can contain both emails and phones at the same time, which will be hyperlinked and working properly with Click-to-call/ Click-to-email in Playbooks.
