Adding users to Playbooks from a CSV

Overview

You want to know how to Add or Import users to Playbooks via a CSV file.

Information

To create a new user in your platform, you must contact Support so the user is created. As there is no process to create users in the Backend by importing a CSV file, the Support agents will add the users one by one to the respective organization (which means that it will take some time, depending of the number of users listed in the CSV file). If you want to provide a CSV file for Support agents to get the information and add the new users to the platform, make sure your CSV file includes the following information:

  1. First Name
  2. Last Name
  3. Username
  4. Email
  5. Permission Group (Choose between Admin, Manager or Sales Rep.)

Once Support staff add the list of users to your organization, you will be able to modify the new users' information in the Playbooks Manager Application

If you log into Salesforce in one tab and access the Playbooks Manager Application in another tab, you can use the Salesforce button to log in to the Manager app.

AGENTS ONLY

This case has been discussed with the Legacy Agents and they've concluded that there is no process that Support has direct access to that would allow them to import users directly to a Playbooks Org via a CSV.
In the past, the customer provided a list of users via CSV but the users were manually added by support. There was no import leveraging the CSV. The CSV simply severed as a reference to inform who should be added, to what team they should be added, and what permission group they should be assigned.
Regarding this last point, "what team they should be added, and what permission group they should be assigned", Central support's scope is bound to create the users only, but it is part of the customer's duties to add these users to the correct team, with the correct permissions from the Playbooks Manager app.
